Our commitment

Life's a Load Laundry Service is committed to providing an accessible online experience for all users, including people with disabilities. We believe the web should be usable by everyone, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use.

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the W3C.

Ongoing efforts

Our site is built with accessibility practices including:

• Full keyboard navigation and visible focus rings.
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images.
• Semantic structure with headings and landmarks.
• Respect for prefers-reduced-motion — animations disable if you ask.
• Respect for prefers-contrast: more and Windows high-contrast mode (forced-colors).
• 44×44 minimum touch targets on mobile (WCAG 2.5.5).
• Color contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text.
• Forms with associated labels and clear error messaging.

Standards and testing

We regularly test with axe-core, keyboard navigation, and screen reader users (NVDA, VoiceOver). Issues identified get fixed in our normal development cycle.

Known limitations
